I am off on my travels on Wednesday 6th July. Heathrow to Istanbul, then to Bangkok for 12 days at the PTTEGAT Snooker world Cup. on 18th July I then fly on to Melbourne and then get driven to Bendigo for The Goldfields Australian Open. I return from Melbourne on 26th July via Bangkok and Istanbul back to London Heathrow.

Well a great Championship comes to an end. Higgins is Champ, Trump is a superstar and the sport was the winner !!! We have The Awards Dinner on Friday 6th May, the new season is just a couple of weeks away. The Premier League adopts an improved format from August and I will do my best to keep you updated on me and all things Snooker related throughout the Year.

OK so Premier League is over for 2010. Probably the best individual performance was Shaun Murphy in the Semi-Final but Ronnie was a bit special throughout and won a convincing Final, seven wins out of nine attempts they tell me!!
I’m at Telford next for the UK Championship, my first time for over 5 years at a ranking event final stages. I am going back to referee for World Snooker because I believe they are going the right way. Hope I do everyone justice but more importantly that they don’t let me or the players down.
AGM is on 2nd December, we’ll see !!!!!!!

Thursday night snooker on SkySports is over for 2010, but this weekend we have the playoffs. Semi Finals are on Saturday evening and Sunday night will see one of the remaining players crowned Premier League Snooker Champion. Former Champions Ronnie O’Sullivan and Marco Fu are through from the group stages along with reigning Champion Shaun Murphy and World Champion Neil Robertson. Who’s your tip for the title ?………..

Only 4 qulaifying matches left and two places in the Semi’s still up for grabs. The hard fought draw between Murphy and Selby on at Weston on Thursday has opened it right up again. You can’t miss the action in Grimsby next week……
